Local vs. Tourist Vegan Infographics

This screen printed infographic project creatively interprets the theme of "locals vs. tourists" by comparing vegan locals and vegan tourists. Each poster defines the two terms and visually communicates their differences. The vegan local poster showcases the essential nutrients of a healthy diet while the vegan tourist poster features a simple and delicious vegan recipe, alongside macronutrient and cost breakdowns. The posters are designed with a looser illustration style, minimal color, and classic typography to emulate an old-timey cook book aesthetic.

10 editions of each 14”x20” print, 20 prints total

Vegan Local: A vegan person. Someone who knows the jist but needs the occational reminder on what proper nutrition entails.
Vegan Tourist: A vegan-curious person. Through not technically vegan, they can often be found lurking in vegan recipe sections on Pinterest and Youtube.
Methods used for creating these prints include photo emulsion, transparent ink, black construction paper, Epson black ink on transparent photo paper, black paint pen on tracing paper, and a light table.
