Event poster inspired by letterpress aesthetics and overprinting, promoting Americana and country music singer-songwriter Rob Baird’s live album recording session at Live From The Divide in Bozeman, MT.

Horse Illustration
Inspired by ranch illustrations in the Heritage Library, a free resource where designers and artists can download archival illustrations for use in private and commercial projects, I created the horse graphic at the bottom of the poster. For a little extra custom flair, I added two brands to the horse's rump. A monogram for Rob, and the MR logo for Mission Ranch, a production company based in Bozeman, which was kind enough to refer me to LFTD for this project.
The red border at the top of the poster is inspired by a guitar fret board and the classic letterpress border tradition.
Badge and date layout created for the event. Once again featuring that RB monogram seen on the horse illustration.
