Homepage Risograph Intro Video
To create this risograph and animated 2D intro video, I broke down a short video of tomatoes from my garden into 108 individual frames across 3 contact sheets, each separated into CMYK isolates. Next, I printed all 4 color ways of each of the 3 pages one at a time using a single-barreled RISO printer. I scanned the best contact sheets back onto my computer, masked out each frame in Illustrator, imported them all into After Effects, sequenced them, and voi la! 15 seconds of frame-by-frame CMYK printed riso footage of sun gold tomatoes rustling in the breeze.

Brand Identity, Illustration, Stationery, Web Design
Because the RISO printer can only print one color way at a time, each page had to be run through the printer four separate times. The gif above showcases how this process works. First cyan, then magenta, then yellow, then black.
On top of my tomato video, I animated in some geese (in reference to Wild Geese, one of my favorite poems by the exceptional Mary Oliver), my name, and my three current defining attributes.
Behold, the 3 best contact sheets (I printed 4 additions of each page in 4 color ways, so 12 pages total, 48 times through the printer).
